Blurring the lines between pop and indie rock, Stray Monroe pride themselves on their high energy and humble nature, taking influence from the likes of The Strokes , Oasis and The Velvet Underground. With a sound that will take you on a nostalgia trip through several decades while still feeling modern, Stray Monroe has set themselves apart from anyone else in the Southern California music scene.
In March of 2018, the band released their EP ‘Momentary Vertigo’. Spearheaded by the single ‘Seaside’, and a VHS inspired music video to go along with it, the band began to develop a cult following. Stray Monroe prides themselves on their high-energy live performances; allowing them to tour all over California and Mexico, and open for national acts such as The Academic and Weathers .
Stray Monroe is currently back in the studio with a desire to push the boundaries of popular music and leave a positive impact on everyone that listens. Blake Imperl (vocals/guitar), Brett Kelly (bass), Colin Croft (drums) will have you reminiscing about the times when life was simple and care-free.
